Most people see theirselves as an individual with a free will who has to control life and try to make the right choices. Nonduality points towards the idea that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself in many ways. We are an instrument being played by consciousness. Our mind makes us believe that we are an individual who can choose what to say, what to think and what to feel. But this idea is just a thought created inside our head. In reality everything is simply happening, including us.
